Our experience with Shad and the team at Energy Saving Pros was very positive. I researched and got bids from a total of five different Solar installation companies, three of which were referred to me. Shad and the team were very accommodating with their design, pleasant to work with, and offered the best price. Other companies pushed more panels than I needed, focused only on leasing options, or in general didn’t want to work with the design of our roof (insisting on a certain grid pattern we didn’t like). At the end of the day, Shad, Wayne and the team gave us exactly what we wanted.

Whenever I’ve had questions or needed something checked, the Energy Saving Pros team has been very responsive. I’ve already recommended them to several friends and neighbors who are considering solar.

The best part- The system production exceeds expectations. Our final PG&E Net metering statement for 2013 was an ending balance of -$272.86, and -167 KWh. We produced slightly more electricity than we used in 2013. Our previous 4 years average monthly electricity bill with PG&E was $416 (or nearly $5,000 per year).

We had been looking at installing a solar PV for a while and when our PG&E bill hit $600, we decided it was time to do something. We investigated many solar installers and contacted a number of local companies who we thought would be suitable. Choosing Energy Saving Pros was one of the easiest contractor choices we have made. We needed a large 60 panel ground mount system with monitoring, and their proposal had the best equipment at the best price. They started construction within 2 days of signing the contract and were finished within a week (faster than we thought possible). The ESP team answered all our questions and kept us informed on all stages of the project. Their crew was professional, friendly and they cleaned up after the construction. They were very accommodating of any requests we had.

As part of the project we also had ESP install a 20kW backup generator, a 440 sqft solar pool heating system, and a solar attic fan. Everything went smoothly and they are fully capable of many types of energy saving projects. Even after the projects were complete they made sure everything was running properly and we were satisfied. We wish more contractors were this much of a pleasure to work with. We completely recommend Energy Saving Pros.

All I can say is WOW! My husband and I had looked into solar many times in the past and either it didn’t make financial sense or you had to deal with the creepy car salesman type but then my husband and I met with Energy Saving Pro’. We were skeptical from the get go but Barry was great. Barry simply presented all the information and then let us decide, no pressure. Barry didn’t pressure us for an answer on such a major decision on the spot. Due to our past experiences with other solar companies our trust didn’t come easy. We explained we had a relative in the industry and out of courtesy had to give them an opportunity to give us a bid. They couldn’t beat the price. Our research didn’t stop there however, we went to a home show and continued to compare and Energy Saving Pros couldn’t be beat.

My husband and I were truly amazed at how accessible Barry was from start to finish. From initial contact to install the whole process took about a month and a good portion of this time was my husband and I deciding on financing. I was amazed at how quickly the system was installed especially because my sister started the process with another solar company and it took her over 3 months to complete the process. She should have gone with Energy Saving Pros.

My husband and I were also extremely impressed with Dave and the rest of the crew that installed the system. The whole team was fantastic. They arrived on time and kept us informed every step of the way. I wish I could remember all of their names because they were all wonderful. A special thanks to Dave though for putting up with our very goofy Great Dane and all of our crazy questions. I can’t say enough how easy this whole experience was and would recommend Barry and the whole team at Energy Saving Pros to anyone and everyone interested in solar.

First of all, we were paying $500 PG&E bills in the summer and our house was kept at 80 degrees. Our family was not only hot, but uncomfortable in our own home. We knew that something had to be done before next summer.

We started to interview companies early November and no one was really looking at our house. Until we met Barry at Energy Saving Pros, he had a complete plan for our house. From our pool pump, adding an attic fan, adding attic insulation and of course getting rid of PG&E by going solar. And the amazing thing, he was cheaper than everyone else.

Barry took his time with us making sure all of our questions were answered. My husband was very reluctant about going solar and Barry took his time to answer all questions. My husband did not want to pay anything to PG&E. Therefore, Barry built a system to cover 100% of our usage. Most companies only built to 80%. One company built a system with a “true up bill” from PG&E that would cost us $700 for the year. UM NO!

Once we made the decision to use Barry, he took care of everything for us. He turned in our application for MPower and took care of everything with our HOA. We signed the MPower documents and had our solar installed the next day with the attic insulation done the day after.

The crew was fast, attentive, courteous and thorough. Did not leave a mess and was a pleasure.

This was the easiest home-improvement project ever!

I had my solar installed June 28, 2014. It is a 9.275 kilowatt system. It has been in and working great. I have seen my first PG&E since the install and I already have a credit.

This process began in January with 8 companies coming by to give me bids. Out of the 8, 6 of the companies were out of the running right away. I had 2 remaining companies that I invited over to discuss their company further. It was through this process that I decided to go with Energy Saving Pros. They were very flexible with the install and had a very reasonable price.
On the day of the install I was out with the crew. I have a construction back ground so I very interested in the work they did on my house. I have nothing but good to say about their installers. They were very professional. I was very impressed with the work the electricians did. They made a clean install in and out of my attic. Everything they did was top notch. When the inspector came out from the county, he made several comments on how impressed he was with the install.

I do not right many reviews, but in this case I feel it was well worth it. I have recommended this company to several of my friends who are using them for solar. A solid company to use for solar!!!

I’m very happy with Energy Saving Pros from Loomis, CA. We had our solar system installed in December 2014. All were very professional and they did exactly what they said they would do (Including finishing the job before the end of the year). The crew worked in cold weather and did an excellent job.

I did my homework; I received four bids from four different Solar Companies. And Energy Saving Pros had the lowest price with the highest quality equipment. Just like their brochure says: “Nobody beats our price for Solar. Nobody. Guaranteed!”

Our PG&E power bills were running $700 – $1500 per month. We had solar installed at our previous home and loved it, so we decided to get a system for our new home. We contacted Energy Savings Pros for a quote on our 7000 sq ft home. We were impressed with the value of the system that was quoted and we proceeded with the installation.

Dan Stout, our sales rep, oversaw every detail of the installation from drawings, permits, scheduling, to the actual installation. He went way beyond the call of duty to make sure everything was the way we wanted it. The installation crew was very clean and they completed the job in a very professional and friendly manner. Several of our neighbors were so impressed with Dan and all he did for us, that they are going with ESP too. We have no reservations in recommending ESP, Dan and their fantastic team. They are just a wonderful group of people.
